Morning Hike

All of the owl nests I have been following have fledged so back to your normal programming. I headed back to the Circle B today. Partially because I knew there would be owls as two nests had just fledged there. However I spent most of the time just hiking and seeing what I could find.

I headed to the lake for sunrise and caught this Great Blue Heron silhouetted against the sky.

There was quite the feeding frenzy going on. Mostly Great Egrets and Wood Storks

Black-crowned Night Heron

Can I choose all of them as favorites? Especially the cardinal, owls and rabbits?

My favorite picture is the Wood storks, but, that said, I like them all – the birds, the turtles, the plants – beauty all around.
