Went to Roosevelt Wetlands this morning as I had a rare weekday off but wanted to be back home to take my wife out for lunch. I was mainly after the male Northern Harrier (the Grey Ghost) and the male Painted Bunting (my rainbow). I did find both of those and got some decent shots but ended up liking my photos of a few other finds better, especially the juvenile Bald Eagle flying overhead.

Great Blue Heron in the Lilly Pads.

American Coot running on water.

White-crowned Sparrow-These are not common in Florida but there appear to be at least 2-3 hanging out at this park currently.

Once again,what great pictures
One great shot of birds after another, topped off by the painted male bunting. It is gorgeous. Your pictures are like therapy. They always make me feel better.. I had a function at USF yesterday, and two people mentioned how much they enjoy your bold site, as do I.
