Saturday at the Wetlands

Back to Roosevelt Wetlands for about 2 hours this morning. Saw an otter out there for the first time. Found the baby gators again with mom nowhere to be seen. Also captured some decent birds in flight.

Marsh Rabbit munchies.

Crow in flight – Could be American or Fish Crow, basically only able to differentiate by their call.

Look out below. Immature Little Blue Heron lightening his load.

Anhinga AKA snakebird AKA Water Turkey.

Laughing Gull in flight.

Otter checking me out.

A congregation of baby gators. A congregation of alligators is the most common term for a group of alligators.

Lounging about.

Excuse me. Coming through.

Got a little reflection here.

I just finished a Google Meet session with your mom and dad and asked if you did any photography this weekend, and here it is!

    Fantastic “Fotos” as always.

It’s always a chore picking out which photo I like the best. So many great shots of flying birds. The blue heron and black skimmer are my favorite bird photos, especially the black skimmer reflection off the water where it forms a perfect X. It is impossible not to love the otter.

  3. Oh my goodness- the reflection shots ! Wow ! All of them are amazing- but I still don’t like the gators !! Haha!
