Supermoon and Comet Atlas

Went out tonight and photographed the Supermoon (biggest of this year because it is the closest to Earth) which was the Hunter’s Moon this month. We shot it at the St Pete Pier again. Afterwards I was able to get a couple of decent pics of Comet Atlas over the St Petersburg skyline. This comet will be around for another week or two and then won’t be visible from Earth for tor another 80,000 years.

  1. Super photos of the super moon. I saw it yesterday morning when I got up and it was setting in the western sky. Thanks for sharing.
