Sparkman Wharf is the beginning of the reimagining of the Channelside complex between the Tampa Aquarium and Amalie Arena. The did a few smart things. Number one, they opened it up to the water. Before Channelside always felt so boxed in and cut off. They also created a nice area with old shipping containers and new food concepts by many of the top chefs in the area. I did a quick peek last weekend and although it was still a little bit of a work in progress, it is almost ready for primetime.
