For the least 5-6 years I have taken a big trip on my birthday. Last year we went to Machu Picchu. We have gone to Las Vegas, an underwater Hotel, an Ice Hotel, and Costa Rica also. This year however due to Covid we stayed much closer to home. We went to visit my wife and I’s alma mater, the University of Florida in Gainesville. We took the kids and visited the campus including Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. We visited several of our favorite places to hangout including Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, Payne’s Prairie State Park and checked out a new park, Sweetwater Wetlands Park. Overall we had a good time, but of course it doesn’t quite stand up to Machu Picchu.
