I went out Thursday night to try to capture some of the Christmas Decorations around downtown Tampa. As seems to happen to me every year, there were some obstacles to getting the shots I wanted. The two main issues I had was they had a fence around Curtis Hixon Park. It was open so you could enter but ran between the trees and the fountains which I usually like to photograph together. The other complaint is the Tampa sign down by Sparkman Wharf which is wrapped in Christmas lights, but the lights weren’t working. I did however have better luck At Armature works where they have a pretty tree and lots of decorations on the river. The Ybor tree was also lit up well this year which I have had trouble with a time or two. All in all I got a few good shots, but feel like I missed out on a few too.
