We just returned from a long weekend in Hollywood, Florida. I was able to sneak out early one morning and take a quick trip down to Miami to capture the skyline and the blue moon setting over the city. Last time I went I was able to get right up on the waterfront on Watson Island to take shots across the water towards the skyline. Now however there is a bunch of construction and fencing going on in the area so I wandered up the MacArthur Causeway and took my photos from there. The first shot tonight is a tight frame of the skyline which I then created a reflection in Photoshop and composited the two together. The second shot is a zoomed in view of the blue moon as it was setting over the city of Miami.
