Galapagos Islands Day 6

Day 6 started with a panga ride along Post Office Bay. We saw Sea Lions, Reddish Marine Iguanas, and Blue-footed Boobies. We then stopped at the Post Office barrel to leave a few postcards and some people took ones

Next stop was a deep water snorkel for me and a glass bottom boat for the girls at Champion Inlet. The snorkel started out pretty rough but ended up with a lot of playful sealions and I got a good pic of the Chocolate Chip Sea Star that the girls really wanted even if I did have to dive down about 20 feet to do it.

Our last stop was Punta Cormorant on Floreana Island. We found a flock of 30 or so Flamingoes but not too close to us. As we came out on a beach there were stingrays riding the surf. We then saw a Magnificent Frigatebird fly away with a baby sea turtle. Finally I spotted a baby sea turtle hiding among the dunes.

We then headed back to Baltra and had to get off the boat the next morning and return to Quito. We spent one night there and then came home.
