Galapagos Islands Day 3

On Day 3 we returned to Isabela Island, but this time to Urbina Bay. We landed on a black sand beach with turtle tracks. Here we saw our first Galapagos Tortoises (although the first one wasn’t so giant) and found a few more Land Iguanas.

We then snorkeled from the beach and again had several Green Sea Turtles around.

Our next stop was Tagus Cove, also on Isabela. We started out here with a kayak/stand up paddle board ride. We then did a coastal exploration by panga. We saw quite a few more Flightless Cormorants but the highlight was getting closer to a bunch of Galapagos Penguins.
