A weekend around Tampa

More photos from a weekend exploring some of my favorite spots around Tampa Bay. Starting with my favorite of the bunch, I was able to frame downtown Tampa from Julian Lane Park. There is a nice shaded path with oak trees on each side and it is angled towards downtown which allowed me to use is to frame the skyline. The next shot is a piece of artwork in downtown that I walk past frequently but rarely photograph (Charles O. Perry ‘Solstice’ 1985). The final shot is a sunset from one of our favorite, quieter locations in Tampa, Picnic Island Park. With the exception of holidays this park is usually not very crowded and is a good place to view a sunset.
