One of my families favorite places from our trip to California was Garrapata State Park in the Big Sur. My kids loved the beach which had a bunch of driftwood and they spent two separate days playing on the beach and building houses from the driftwood. As a photographer I enjoyed the beautiful views of the sand cliffs leading to the Pacific Ocean. I also spent a lot of time walking among the wildflowers that were covering the dunes.
