For sunrises at Fort Desoto Park I usually like to go to either the end near the Skyway bridge or the Bay Pier. The Bay Pier is the shorter of the two piers at Fort Desoto, but usually lines up better with the sunrise. I captured a few sunrise shots of the pier and water itself first. Once the sun had risen above the pier I was also able to capture a few nice silhouettes including a biker and some birds.
