We have recently returned from a two week summer vacation to California. One of the main shots that I had planned out beforehand was the Golden Gate Bridge and San Fransisco at night. The main vantage point I wanted to shoot form is called Hawk Hill. This gives you an elevated viewpoint. From here you can see the Golden Gate Bridge, San Fransisco, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, and even Oakland. Luckily we had a nice clear night (although I have seen a lot of cool fog shots from this location). I love to photograph cities as the sky starts to get dark and all the lights come on. San Fransisco did not disappoint.
