My favorite thing to photograph on the St Petersburg side of the Tampa Bay area is the Sunshine Skyway bridge. I love to watch the sunrise over the bridge from one of the old fishing piers (usually the South one). You never know what you are going to get. Some days you get some nice colorful clouds like the first shot. Some days you get a pretty clear sky and can focus more on the sun itself. This picture was taken from Fort Desoto where for a part of the year, the sunrise lines up with the bridge.
