Birds and Monkeys

On our trip to Costa Rica we made a special detour down to the Osa Peninsula because of the wildlife viewing. We were not disappointed in this regard. We saw Scarlet Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, all 4 kinds of Monkey’s native to Costa Rica, a sloth, iguana, crocodiles and probably a few other things that I don’t remember right off. We saw the Scarlet Macaws several times but it took awhile for me to get a decent shot. The good thing is you here them coming before you see them so you can prepare a little. These flew overhead when we were down at the beach. The monkey I caught during an early morning walk and was able to silhouette him against the sunrise.
