Highlands Hammock State Park

During our Christmas break this year we took an overnight camping trip to Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring, Florida. This is a nice park with a good campground and a bunch of short hiking trails. The best trail by far for me is the Cypress boardwalk trail. They have several sections of catwalk which is a more narrow boardwalk with a handrail only on one side. This trail goes through the cypress swamp where we saw an alligator and this Water Mocassin.
