My parents have a lake house on Dead Lake up in northern Minnesota. I have visited it at least 5-6 times now, but this summer was the first time I have been to Phelps Mill despite it being less than 10 miles away. Phelps Mill is a really pretty old flour mill built right on the river. There is also a nice little park nearby. They host a crafts festival here every year that my parents always rave about. I’m glad I got to see and photograph Phelps Mill this year and it will definitely be on my list for future visits.
