Ballast Point Park is one of my favorite parks to visit in Tampa. There is a really nice playground for the kids including a splash area. There is a nice long pier that is nice to walk out on and watch the wildlife. The main reason that I like to go there is because of the great views of downtown Tampa. This morning I walked the whole shoreline of the park and shot the Tampa skyline from multiple angles and with various framing elements at the park itself.
