Fall

Ok, I’ve had enough of this summer in Florida stuff. This year has been particularly hot. At least we got away to Minnesota for a couple of weeks during the hottest portion. I’m looking forward to what passes for Fall around here. That brings me back to our Fall trip almost 4 years ago now to the Blue Ridge Parkway. My favorite sights as a photographer are clustered together close to Boone, North Carolina which is our base for travelling the parkway. It’s hard to beat the Lynn Cove Viaduct for scenery. This view of it was taken from the Tanawaha trail. You can also see Grandfather Mountain from that viewpoint. Another place close by which was very picturesque, especially in the early morning with some fog hanging around was Price Lake. I was able to get some nice reflections in the still water.
