Now that Christmas is over I will return to some of my more normal skyline shots. I’m going to start with one of my favorite views in Tampa, from the Platt Street Bridge. I have contrasting day and night views here that were taken at almost the same angle. I kind of prefer the night version myself. One of the hardest things about shooting at this location is that it is a drawbridge. TO get the angle with the best reflections you have to stand on the drawbridge portion that vibrates quite a bit with traffic and for a good 6-7 seconds afterward. This makes it hard, especially at night to take my bracketed shots, some of which are usually longer exposures.
