Gasparilla is one of the biggest events in the Tampa Bay Area every year. There are many pieces to it including but not limited to the Children’s parade, the Day parade, the night parade, the film festival, and a race. During the day parade their is a pirate invasion which is led by the ship The Jose Gasparilla. Last night when I ventured out to take photos I found the sip parked over at the Tampa Convention Center instead of it’s normal parking spot. This gave me a chance to get a few better shots of it. There was also a Tampa Bay Lightning game downtown last night so there was a lot of activity along the waterfront and the Sail Pavilion was really hopping.
