I definitely need to get over to St Pete beach more. It is beautiful over there and there are some cool hotels. My parents are spending a few days at the Tradewinds Resort on the beach and I went over to meet them the other day. The Tradewinds Resort has a lot of cool activities going on around the hotel including a giant waterslide on the beach, firepits, and the jet lev (a water powered jetpack). However, I was interested in seeing the aquarium at the Guy Harvey Outpost which is part of the resort. This aquarium is large enough for people to snorkel in it and was built by the guys on the tv show Tanked. A warning, the main part of the aquarium is in the dining room and you are not supposed to go in there unless you are eating there. I was there in mid afternoon and there were 4 people snorkeling in there and no one in the dining room so I was able to take a few shots.
