I went out on Wednesday night to capture two main things. First was the Amalie Arena as I wanted some new pictures for the new Tampa Bay Lightning season. I posted a few of those on Thursday. The other main target was the full moon. I had trouble coming up with a good location to capture it, but ended up using the Florida Aquarium as the foreground. I like the look of the Florida Aquarium building in general, but have not gotten a lot of pictures of it that I really like. Wednesday night I was able to capture a few pretty good ones with the full moon rising behind it. The other shot I am posting tonight was taken from the Amalie Arena parking garage. It is a view of Tampa that I haven’t captured before. I particularly like the circular off ramp in the foreground with a few car trails on it. That would be cool to capture on a Lightning game night with a lot more cars coming through.
