When looking for pictures to post today I decided I definitely wanted to go with some sunshine. Today was a very rainy day and the next week is supposed to be unusually rainy. I know I shouldn’t complain seeing as how I live in the Sunshine State, but that is a lot of days of rain. The first shot is a wide view of the Tampa Skyline that also captures the Jose Gasparilla. This pirate ship is the focus of the Gasparilla pirate invasion that happens in late January every year. This was taken during sunset and gave the buildings a nice warm glow. The second shot is a sunrise taken on the other side of downtown. This was taken from a bridge looking over the Hillsborough River towards Waterworks Park. Downtown Tampa and 275 can be seen in the right part of the frame.
