Warm versus cool tones are one of the subjects that I have written about in the past, but I find keeps popping up in my photography. Its amazing what a difference a short time can make. The tones 15-20 minutes before sunrise can be very blue. However, almost as soon as the sun comes up everything shifts to the much warmer tones. These colors really affect the mood of the photograph. The first shot displays the cool tones that you often see just before dawn and was captured from Plant Park at the University of Tampa. The second shot displays much warmer tones and was actually taken just before sunset from Tampa General Hospital. Which tones do you prefer?
