Anybody who has read this blog before knows that I love all the details that were put into the Tampa Theatre. Just to show you how intricate the designs are, here are a couple of subjects that you would not expect to be so fancy. The first shot is of a water fountain. It is not often that I stop to photograph water fountains, but then again, I haven’t seen many water fountains like this one. The second shot is of another thing that most people don’t spend much time looking at, the ceiling. This ceiling is actually in the hallway leading from the box office to the main lobby. It is not the easiest thing to photograph. I used my fisheye lens pointed straight up, but zoomed out a little more than I should have and got the lens hood in the picture a little bit. Well, I guess that’s reason to go try again.
