Back to St Petersburg for today’s photo and for me, when I think of St Petersburg, the waterfront is the first thing that comes to mind. St Petersburg did a great job of protecting the waterfront area with parks and keeping it open for the public. This is what Tampa is trying to do more of now although it is a lot harder to do after the fact. The first shot tonight is the St Petersburg Municipal Marina at sunrise. This is a very high contrast shot and you would not be able to see details in both the sun and the marina building without the use of HDR. The second shot is another Sailboat sunrise shot. These are hard for me to resist when capturing the sunrise. I added a little glow to finish this image off for a more dreamy feeling.
