Two new shots from our St Augustine trip tonight. The first photo is another shot from the amazing sunrise I watched over the Matanzas River just across the street from our hotel. Three things that can’t be beat in my opinion for a great photo are great sunrise light, amazing clouds, and water for a reflection. The shots I took that morning are some of the favorite shots that I have ever taken. For this shot I was also consciously trying to make sure I take a vertical or two as I often forget and just take horizontal images. The second shot is from the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. This is a beautiful old Catholic Church right near the water that I walked into shortly after shooting the sunrise. Old churches are also high on my list of things that I love to photograph. The details throughout the church, but especially around the altar were amazing.
