Someplace that I visit pretty frequently, but have not seen many good photos of is Ballast Point Park which is on the far southern end of Bayshore Boulevard. This is a great little park that has a long fishing pier which I enjoy visiting just for the scenery. There is also a nice playground and a kids splash area. I recently had a chance to make it down to Ballast Point Park for a sunset and I took turns photographing the piers, clouds and the Tampa skyline across the water.
