Hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve and am looking forward to an even more exciting 2014. I am really excited to start sharing some shots from one of my favorite photography experiences of 2013. In December, thanks to someone I met on Twitter, I had the opportunity to photograph a sunset from the top of the Skypoint condo building in downtown Tampa. We could not have asked for better weather or a nicer sunrise. I am always on the lookout for new angles so I was really happy to get a chance to get some different photos of downtown Tampa to add to my collection. I was able to stay out until a little after dark when all the lights in the city came on and was able to capture some of the car trails. I have a ton of shots from that evening that I will be posting over the next couple months. I am starting with a sunset over the University of Tampa. The University of Tampa is obviously the most interesting building in downtown for me to photograph and I took quite a few shots from this new angle. The second shot is looking away from the sunset, back into the heart of downtown.
