Over the Thanksgiving break I had the chance to make a quick trip through Fort Christmas Historical Park which is located in Christmas, Florida, just west of Orlando. Unfortunately they only partially opened the buildings because of the holidays, but I did get into several of them and did a little photography. If you are new to HDR (high dynamic range photography), these kinds of places are the perfect place to practice it. I particularly like the inside/outside scenes that capture the details inside a room and through a window or doorway. That kind of shot is not possible without combining exposures in some method. The sewing room was one of my favorites and I really liked the way it looked with a glow effect added. The second shot is more of a closeup of the Singer Sewing Machine.
