Tampa Convention Center and Sail Pavilion

This past Sunday I headed out to the Sail Pavilion and the Tampa Bay Convention Center at the request of Visit Tampa Bay, the tourism bureau for the Tampa Bay area. The request was for shots of this area at sunset showing some of the nightlife in the area. I tried to shoot a lot of different angles and I am pretty happy with the shots that I got. I am usually out at sunrise partly to avoid getting people in my photos, but I can understand why these kind of shots are needed for advertising the area. The first angle with the angler-fish light in the corner of the photo is definitely one of my favorites. The second shot was right as the sun was setting and after the Riverwalk lights had come on.

  1. Matt, I recently discovered your photos and love some of the images you have captured of downtown Tampa. I am writing to ask permission to use some of your photos to promote one of our Facebook pages, https://www.facebook.com/DowntownTampaisAwesome. I’d love to showcase your work and am also wondering if you have a Facebook page we could tag? Looking forward to hearing from you!
