This morning we took the kids to visit Lowry Park Zoo and made a beeline to see the new baby elephant. The new baby is named Mavi and was born July 29th. She was not too active until her “big sister” Mpumi came out and then they walked around and played a little together. Mpumi was born in December of 2012 and you can see some of my pics of her on previous posts including here. They were fun to watch playing together. These are African elephants. By the way, Lowry Park Zoo has been named one of the best zoos in the country for children and our kids always enjoy it.
