Florida’s wading birds are usually pretty approachable and fairly easy to photograph. That’s why I like to look for different ways to capture them. Two of my favorite ways are capturing their reflection in the water or as silhouettes. The key to the first method is getting the right angle. For the silhouette, the main issue is just getting the right light which is usually sunrise or sunset.
