Sights on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina

The Blue Ridge Parkway through North Carolina is a beautiful place and there are a lot of great vistas and pullovers worth stopping at. My favorite waterfall from our trip[ last year was Crabtree Falls. It is only about a mile and a half hike I think. We weree there in fall and there was some nice colors pretty close to the tree. In the early afternooon the sun was just behind the waterfall which did limit some compositions, but at least I didn’t have to worry about the highlights on the water. Another beautiful spot is Price Lake. I stopped there after a morning photo shoot and there was still some fog on the lake. It was very still and there were some nice reflections.
