Blue Ridge Parkway – Mabry Mill and Tunnel

A couple more of my favorite places from our trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We made it from teh southern end to a little ways past Mabry Mill up in Virginia. Mabry Mill of course is classic and is almost definitely the most photographed spot on the parkway. We were there midday so there were a lot of people but you could still get shots mostly without them if you waited. There are 2 or 3 decent angles where you can get the reflection of the mill in the pond and I tried to include some good colors also. The other shot is one of the tunnels you go through driving the parkway. This is the tunnel I saw that was surrounded by the best variety of fall colors.
