Great Smoky Mountains National Park 2012

We started our first day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park by attempting sunrise at Clingmans Dome. I say attempting because when we arrived the fog was so thick you couldn’t see more than 10 feet in front of you. The fog itself of course made for some interesting shots but changed the plans a little. We worked our way toward Cherokee, North Carolina and stopped at Mingus Mill. I know I have said this before, but these older buildings are just made for HDR photography.
