Dry Tortugas Lighthouses

On my trip to Dry Tortugas National Park I was able to photograph two different lighthouses. The first is the Fort Jefferson Light which is a small lighthouse, painted completely black, that sticks up from one corner of Fort Jefferson on Garden Key. The second lighthouse, Loggerhead Key Lighthouse, was much more spectacular, but I had to photograph it from Garden Key which was a pretty good distance. One type of shot that I spent some time looking for was ways to use the portholes of Fort Jefferson to frame shots of the outside. I was finally able to find a window that I could capture through my telephoto lens that framed Loggerhead Key Lighthouse well.
