Another Night out in Tampa

I have been running to downtown Tampa quite a bit recently so I have been seeing it at a time when I don’t normally make it down there. That and the fact that I have sold a few photos recently really motivated me to get out and look for a few more new angles. It is definitely getting more and more challenging for me to find new and original shots of the downtown area. Let’s face it, there are not a whole lot of big buildings in downtown and there are only so many ways to capture them. That being said I am really happy with some of the shots I got tonight. The first photo is of the Tampa Bay History Center which has been around for awhile now but I have never captured. I think I have always neglected it because I am usually out in the morning and it looks much nicer at night with all the lights. The second shot is of Tampa General Hospital which was recently remodeled and was just named the best hospital in the state of Florida. The pilings in the foreground used to be boat docks but they are being torn out to beautify the area for the upcoming Republican National Convention in August.
