Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there! Since grandma took the kids last night for a sleepover I made a quick trip to the Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland again. The two things I really like about this place is that it is pretty close, about 45 minutes, and there is a lot of photography opportunities. Today I photographed two different Sandhill Crane families. Both consisted of two parents and one colt. The first colt was almost as big as its parents. He would catch some food on his own but the parents would still feed him periodically. The second colt was about half the size and he just followed his parents waiting for his breakfast.
