Viera Wetlands Wildlife

Today I am going to start a series about my favorite places. Since I just visited last weekend I will start with Viera Wetlands. Viera Wetlands is a man made wetland at a water treatment plant. That may not sound pleasant, but there is no smell and it has created a great habitat that helps to filter the water. There is a wide variety of wildlife at Viera Wetlands including otters, alligators, deer, turles, frogs, and just about any type of bird that lives in Florida. It is also pretty well made for photography since there are several roads allowing you to get fairly close to most areas of the wetlands.
